Can this tell if a picture was made with AI?
Only if the file says so. More and more AI apps add a label or Content Credentials to what they make, and we show those. We never guess from the picture itself: AI detectors often get it wrong, especially with edited images.
Why does my file show nothing?
Most chat apps and social networks remove hidden data when you share a file. A file without a label is not proof of anything: ask for the original file and check that one.
What are Content Credentials?
Signed origin data: which app or camera made a file and what was done to it, sealed so that changes show. We check the signature on your device, with the official open-source reader.
Are my files really not uploaded?
Yes. Your browser does all the work on your device. You can check it yourself: turn off your Wi-Fi after the page has loaded and the tool keeps working.
