Your browser does the work
When you open a tool, your browser downloads the tool itself, not the other way around. Your file is opened and changed right here, like in an app on your computer.
How Toolcocoon keeps your files private
Most online tools send your file to their computers to work on it. Toolcocoon does the work inside your own browser, on your own device. Your file never travels anywhere.
Blocked by your browser
Our tool pages tell your browser it may only contact our own licence check, and nothing else. Even if someone tried, your browser would refuse to send your file anywhere.
Nothing to steal
We don't store files, file names or their contents. We keep only what's needed to unlock what you bought: your email and your licence.
Don't take our word for it
Turn off your Wi-Fi. It still works.
Toolcocoon does all the work on your own device. Once a tool page has loaded, it doesn't need the internet at all. Try it:
- Turn off Wi-Fi, or switch on airplane mode.
- Press the button to shrink the sample photo.
- It finishes anyway, because your photo never had to go anywhere.
